Caitlyn Lana a 16 yr old Mason High School student decided to bless the ministry in a very special way. You see for her 16th birthday party she hosted at her home she requested no gifts. But rather that each guest would bring 2 canned goods and then partake in an 1 hour scavanger hunt around Crooked Tree subdivision in an attempt to raise more canned goods for "project 5 2". Over 100 canned goods were secured. We ( our family ) visited with the group after the event and shared about our ministry. We challenged each young adult to prepare 2 bags of rice from "kids against hunger" and to pray for the hungry in this city and
ethiopia, as their families ate the rice product.
